Former Vancouver Canucks NHL Draft Pick Brett McKenzie Signs With The Manotick Mariners

MANOTICK, ON - The Manotick Mariners have signed former NHL draft pick forward Brett McKenzie for the 2024-2025 season.

Drafted 194th overall by the Vancouver Canucks in 2016, McKenzie spent five seasons playing professional hockey in the AHL with the Providence Bruins, Chicago Wolves and the Grand Rapids Griffins. McKenzie also played in the ECHL with the Atlanta Gladiators, Fort Wayne Comets and the Toledo Walleye.

In addition, McKenzie played five seasons with the North Bay Battalion and the Owen Sound Attack in the OHL, where he played 328 games, scoring 101 goals and 224 points.
